Memoirs of a Scarf Addict…

So if you know me you know that next to my collection of glasses, my collection is scarves is my most treasured.  So when I saw Ruflixoo were looking for someone to try their scarves I was all over that in a similar way to how I’m all over cake at a party.

Ruflixoo offer a small range of scarves available in a variety of colours and designs.  Prices range from £8.99 to £14.99 with free delivery.  I went with the green tartan scarf as I knew I already had the perfect dress to team it with.  One of the things I love about a scarf is that, practicality aside, they have the ability to transform an outfit.

Naturally in the winter I do like a chunky knitted scarf but almost 99% of my collection are lightweight scarves.  These can be worn pretty much Spring through to Autumn.  They are perfect for when the days are warm but the mornings and evenings have a little nip in the air.

The green tartan scarf is 60% silk / 40% viscose and is machine washable at 30 degrees.  It is 38″ wide by 80″ long and can be worn in a number of different ways.  I always opt for just wrapped round my neck (which I believe is known as the loose wrap) but if you check Google / Pinterest there are a plethora of ways to tie a lightweight scarf.

I wore my scarf with my forest green smock dress from Topsy Curvy, my little grey ankle boots from Primark and my most favourite long green tassel earrings from Accessorize and think they all compliment each other perfectly.

I’m already checking out the blue tartan check scarf as the next addition to my collection.  Which one are you loving?
