So as Autumn is most definitely upon us I thought I’d share a selection of some of my favourite knitwear available at the moment. I’m a huge fan of Autumn and being able to snuggle in big chunky knits. My cardigan is referred to as my security blanket but I don’t think there is anything better than putting on a piece of knitwear that wants to feel like it’s hugging you.
Lilac Wrap Crossover Jumper – Forever 21
Navy Bardot Jumper – Dorothy Perkins
Grey Star Knitted Top – Yours Clothing
Grey Boucle Cardigan – New Look
As you can tell I tend to prefer quite muted colours when it comes to my knitwear. Grey is always a popular choice for me. I love the draped neckline on the lilac wrap jumper from Forever 21. Most people who know me know I’m a huge fan of a bardot neckline and that includes in knitwear. The grey star knitted top is perfect at the moment as it’s a lightweight knit and great for when it’s cool but not cold. The grey boucle cardigan is looking like the perfect replacement for my current security blanket.
Eden Black Sequin Jumper – Studio Eight
Ruffle Sleeve Jumper – Simply Be
Ladder Knitted Tie Detail Jumper – River Island
Beth Batwing Jumper in Emerald – Studio Eight
I’m not going to mention the dreaded C word just yet but as party season is also upon us I thought this little black sequin jumper from Studio Eight would be great with jeans and heels for drinks with friends. As Ruffle is my maiden name it would be remiss of me to not include a jumper that has such fabulous detail. The brings me nicely to this lovely pink ladder knitted tie detail jumper from River Island. Obviously I was instantly drawn to the pink (I’ve no idea why??) but the more I look at it the more I think I prefer it in the khaki colour.
My final choice was inspired by the gorgeous Zoë over at IKIWN. She recently did a post combining a green flared jumper with a purple skirt that reinvigorated my love of emerald green. I love this batwing jumper from Studio Eight (sadly out of stock but other choices available). I thought upon looking at it that would make fab transitional knitwear going from the mild days to cooler evening and that was confirmed when I read this great post from Hayley over at Curves n Curls.
Alas my search for the perfect off the shoulder jumper continues as well as something big and chunky and oversized. So if you come across either let me know. What knitwear is catching your eye at the moment?
